    Nice steel, remarkably poor woodwork

I expect a lot out of the Swiss. I didn't get it. The steel on this knife seems good. It takes a good edge and seems to hold it well. The reason for leaving a review is that the handle is a very poor piece of work. It had deep tool marks and no finish. ?? Plan on spending a couple of hours cleaning up and finishing this one. It did finish well after few coats of oil. Unimpressed. Buy the blades, make a handle

    5 star customer service

this is a 5 star review for woodcraft's customer service as well as for the product. When i received my shipment i found that the cardboard box that had contained my order was a little damaged in one of the corners. After unpacking, i found the plastic sleeve for the marking knife but not the marking knife. I called woodcrafts customer service; and 90 seconds later i was off the phone with a new knife being shipped. It arrived just a few days later, sharp! (just like all the other reviewers), even though i turned down the sharpening service. thank you woodcraft

    Good Product

This marking knife has been working great so far. The blade is long enough that I can easily get into small spaces to make marks.
