    DW735 vs DW735x

    For everyone saying Dewalt should include these with the DW735 planer, should've researched more and bought the DW735x. The DW735 comes as a bare bones tool for 100$ less than the DW735x which comes with the tables and extra set of knives. The DW735 and DW735x are exactly the same machine except one comes with extras the other does not. The X obviuosly means EXTRAS!!

    Worth the money

    I believe it should come with the planer to begin with, anyway I am glad I purchased them. Did away with the snipe and no adjustment needed.

    A pain to fold up. Otherwise excellent.

    These things do not like to fold up. The cord gets in the way of the outfeed table. The solution is to raise the planer a little, fold the table, and then wrap the cord, but it might be better if they put a simple hole in the end of each table and included a 75-cent bungee with two hooks. They work great. They're easy to install and adjust.

    buy it

    wish I had found these earlier, easier than building a planer in-feed out-feed table. easier to take from job to job. A little flimsy, I have them perfectly dialed at either side and still notice a little sag in the middle but still a good product.

    Don,t buy the planer without it!

    I bought the planer several years ago. I'm sorry I didn't get the table extension kit at the same time. This makes a great planer the best it can be!

    Made my planer excellent

    I use my Dewalt planer all the time making keepsake, jewelry and humidor boxes. It works well planning spanish cedar down to 1/8 inch for humidor lining. Just what I need.
