Very disappointed in this Woodriver product

Yikes! I had higher expectations for Woodcraft's own brand of products. This featherboard is flimsy, feels like a toy, and like other reviewers noted, it is way too short to be useful. Spend the extra $5 and get a different brand.

Maybe ok for some applications, but too short for SawStop table saw

Too short to get close enough to the blade to be useful for my SawStop table saw for narrower cuts. Also, the "bars" which hold the board into the miter slots are plastic, and one cracked when I overtightened it. It's still usable (for when I am cutting larger widths only) but the cracked piece is an annoyance. I will replace it with an appropriately sized feather board. It never even crossed my mind that they might sell one that wouldn't even reach from the miter slot to the blade. Lesson learned.

    It does its job

its a decent feather board. The only down side is it only get within 2" of my table saw blade. I was hoping that I could use it for thinner rip cuts. May try the kregg. Supposedly it covers more distance when adjusting.

    Great but not much travel

On my old Delta table saw, this was my featherboard of choice, and I have some expensive ones on hand. On my new saw the slot is about a inch father away form the blade and this featherboard just doesn't reach unless there is over an inch and a have of trim being cut off. The Kreg is nearly identical but has much more travel; it's my new favorite.

    Very good accessory

Very easy to use. Fits both my router table and table saw. On router table it holds stock solid to fence. Locks in very easily. Have used it on both fence and table of saw, very easy yo use.

    Looks good but to short

Works real well and is easy to adjust, but it will not reach up close to the blade.

    A finger saver

This product gives peace of mind and greatly reduces that "eliment of surprise" when using the table saw!

    works

I gave 3 stars cause it does work but compared to the Kreg, well there is no comparison the Kreg is just a much better feather-board and I sprung for more Kreg

Much better one's for the money

I should have done a little more research before buying this. The miter rail on it is made of plastic. Hasn't broken yet but it's not quality in my book. The biggest problem is that fully adjusted inward toward the blade it doesn't come close to getting there so I can't use it unless I'm cutting off more than an inch. Kind of precludes "sneaking up" which is where it would be most useful. I'm sure it would be fine in other saws that have a miter closer to the blade. Mine is a Steel City 35915G.
