I USE IT ON MY SOUTH BEND METAL LATHE FOR METAL OR WOOD PRODUCTS. USE IS LIMITED ONLY BY YOUR IMAGINATION. RUGGED ITEM. SOLID BEARINGS. NO BEARING END "PLAY" WHATSOEVER. SMOOTH BEARING ACTION. I'LL NEVER NEED TO REPLACE THIS ONE !!! AMAZINGLY GREAT FOR THE PRICE.

This is a nice center, smooth and true. I use it on a delta midi lathe turning game calls and it has proven itself to be a time saver and reliable performer. I can turn blanks of different bore diameters and it keeps everything centered nicely.

Great product
Works as advertised. Been fighting with wobbly pen mandrels with the stock live center that came with my Rikon lathe. The 60 degree taper fits perfectly into the divot at the end of the mandrel and gives rock solid performance. My turnings have definitely improved after purchasing this tailstock.
